Theatro with EMERGENCY and Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Gino Strada and a number of other prestigious guests have hailed the Paediatric Surgery Centre of Excellence in Uganda as “scandalously beautiful,” after it was designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop and TAMassociati for EMERGENCY.

This is the first project by companies involved in the Theatro network to achieve international visibility. An excellent example of quality architecture and co-design.

Entebbe’s paediatric hospital is an example to be followed. Because, as Renzo Piano puts it, “building is an extraordinary gesture.”

For Theatro, it is a dream come true.
